It had always been Tilly’s dream to become a real-life Disney princess and her dream finally came true at Disneyland Paris.
The day started in the hotel shop, Galerie Mickey, where you could choose the dress for any princess your heart desired. There were outfits for Aurora, Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel, Meredith, Jasmine, and even Moana and Elena but Tilly had her heart set on Cinderella. The package included one ‘premium’ dress but Tilly also picked out some lovely shoes and satin gloves to complete her magical outfit.
Once dressed, she made her way down to the boutique for her princess makeover.
Tilly was treated like royalty from the moment she arrived and sat down in front of an ornate mirror. Her hair was styled in a bun, just like Cinderella, before her make-up was applied.
After being sprinkled with fairy dust and given an official Disneyland Princess certificate, Tilly was treated to a professional photoshoot to complete the experience.
As we made our way to lunch at Cinderella’s restaurant, Auberge de Cendrillon, Tilly was greeted with ‘Bonjour, princess’ by every single cast member that passed. It made her feel very special.
At the restaurant itself, we were treated to a lovely meal as various princesses visited our table for a chat, photos, autographs, and most importantly, a hug.
It was a truly magical experience, one that Tilly will remember all her life.
